Hawthorne Math and Science Academy of California teammates Pedro "Angel" Yanez, a senior, and junior Bryan Lezama took the top two spots in the Division 5 boys varsity yellow 2-mile race at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational in Walnut, Calif. Yanez prevailed in 9:54 and Lezama clocked 9:58 to help Hawthorne Math and Science Academy place second behind Flintridge Prep School from California by a 58-86 margin.
